Living in Antwerp

Magda de Meester and her husband Paul Clerinx live with their two children in the private house of the architect Léon Stynen (1899-1990). Built in 1933, the modernist house is located in the Expo district (Antwerp), where the Antwerp World Fair was held in 1930. Stynen lived in the house until his death. The Clerinx Family are the second owner since then: "It's a house with a soul. It has wonderful light and beautiful proportions." The entire house has been decorated with the utmost care and furnished mainly with vintage pieces from the 1950s to recreate the original atmosphere of the house.  via bloesem
