Founded in 1999 by two Harvard Design School graduates, Aldridge & Tanno Architects is an award-winning Architecture firm founded on a consistent philosophical approach, rather than a pre-determined house style. We are committed to creating finely crafted buildings that are intimately connected to their context and function.
The work of Aldridge & Tanno Architects is driven by design excellence, budget and program control, and proficient project management, with the goal of maximizing value and architectural quality. The firm's principals work directly with the client and design team on every project, from the initial design phase through planning, construction and completion.
We believe that high quality design results from continuity in the design process and intensive dialogue between the client, consultants, contractors and end users. Our team is well versed in working with planning authorities and local agencies, and we work closely together to ensure the best results are achieved.
Aldridge & Tanno Architects' awards include the Royal Institute of British Architects Special Commendation, and a Queen's Anniversary Trust Award. The firm's work has also been exhibited at the National Building Museum in Washington, D.C., the Municipal Arts Society in New York, and the London Transport Museum.
